I had never eaten crab before. Real like... just been boiled crab. One year I decided I'd take a vacation and eat crab. That was my sole purpose during my vacation that year. One day I finally made it out to Ports-O-Call and had my crab. I didn't like it. I mean it's okay, but... yeah... I didn't really like it. I kept the mallet though, I don't know where it is anymore, but I kept it. I don't think we were supposed to. LOL

It's amazing what you can make a man do when he's in love. Don't tell him I posted this picture publicly he'll probably kill me, but it is hanging on my wall in the bedroom so he should be used to it by now. I love the orange colors on the dragon puppet. This pic was probably taken on my 2 mp sony. It was our first trip to Chinatown together.

Okay, so it's more red than purple. What?? In this shot I was sitting in the passenger side sticking my head out of the car and snapping pictures of the sky. This one wasn't bad though The first lightpost there is a bit distracting. Still, I'm pretty sure Rigid was driving at least 30 mph. Not bad huh?

I cried during this performance. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen in my life. I could almost feel her imagining herself to be a peacock in order to pull of her performance. It was truly remarkable and I captured a few gorgeous shots here.

A coworker invited me to a cultural dance festival that she was in. It was so beautiful and my camera really captured the moment well. Too bad I took all the pictures on VGA because they're all unprintable. Rigid and I had a really nice time. He always surprises me when he does things like this with me. He's such a brute sometimes that it's hard to believe that he actually enjoyes doing cultural things. Next thing you know he'll be taking me to the Opera. HAH!!! That is to laugh.

I had never been to a Pride Festival. I heard they were a lot of fun... This one wasn't so much. In fact the food and drinks made me sick. So sick in fact that I had to rush to a shit box to poo... Too bad I forgot to lock the door. Good lord that was like a nightmare.

I snapped this picture of my niece and nephews little Easter duckies. They met an untimley death, but they made us happy for a while. It was really nice watching the kids run around chasing after them... Even if for only a day or so. Poor duckies. RIP.

Rigid was in Iraq for a few months while in the Territorial Army. This is among one of my favorite pictures. I can't remember the where he was, but it's a very decorative ceiling. I don't know why I'm blogging it really, but well... there you go.

Wedding Memories

A picture of our Ring Pillow. You can see another picture of Rigid and I in the background. I believe I was getting my hair and makeup done while the photographer took this picture.

 

Wedding Cracker

My photographer took this picture at my wedding. I've recently downloaded Picasa onto my computer and I'm trying out some of the cool features. "Blog This" is one of them. I think I'm going to be very happy with it. :)

The Wedding Cracker was something Iworked very hard on for my wedding. Perhaps I'll give a better detailed description at a later time. After all I do want to blog the Wedding Events and details as a memento.

My Photography

One of my other hobbies is photography. I'm not very good at it, but I do try to take the best pictures possible. I've found, to be perfectly idiotic, that the better the camera the better the picture. What I mean by that is simply that the camera does all the work for me. You'll notice that the nicer shots are usually dont with a better camera. The megapixels will range anywhere from 1mp to 5 mp. I've yet to go beyond a 5mp.

At the moment I'm using a Cybershot DSC H1. I was in the market to buy a new digital cam, but it was Christmas time and everywhere I went no one had exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to wait for a camera to be shipped to me and I didn't have $1000.00 to buy the one I wanted so I got that one. It was a bit of an impulse buy, but ultimately a very good one... for the price at the time that is.

I'll be posting some of my favorite shots as time goes by. And hopefully soon my computer will be back up and running so I can download newer pictures. I do hope my photography has improved some.

Colored Boxes in Long Beach

Colored Boxes at Long Beach. I was taking a walk with some friends and found these boxes lined up by the marina in Long Beach. I thought they made an interesting subject and took several pictures. If I was a real artist they would have come out much better and I would probably have something much more intersting to say than, h'urururuhururhuhrurur purdy boxes'.

Chinese Dragon

This Chinese Dragon picture was taken outside the Wynn hotel.... I think. My husband and I were out wandering around and ended up there. The halls were decked out for Christmas and red was the theme. I wish I had taken a picture there, but I was so self conscious being there that I actually couldn't wait to get the hell out.

Paris in Las Vegas

This picture was taken at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas. Again on my tinsy Fujifilm digital cam. Not bad for a 2mp. This time out I was on my own so I took the opportunity to snap as many pictures as I could. My new husband was busy sleeping off the shrimp vomiting episode he'd had the night before. Let's just say the cleaning crew at the Monte Carlo were amazing!
